Bolt Hole

Important plot point: Coco can’t refuse a duel once a challenge is issued. Keep that in mind once we get to comic #256 or thereabouts. ;)

I was watching Alice in Wonderland the other day. Am I a bad person for wishing her ill for doing all sorts of truly stupid things? Eating strange mushrooms? Following rabbits down dark holes? At the end of it all, she learned absolutely nothing from her experiences…except learning a new poem about crocodiles in the Nile.

If you examine the movie for symbolism and look at possible interpretations, you quickly realize that the story is not meant for children. Why is Disney trying to mess with us? Why can’t we just watch a simple story without need for Disney to teach us a hidden lesson? What’s wrong with cartoons where a silly cayote drops an anvil on an annoying roadrunner?
