I’ve heard the quote “Things are never so bad that they can’t get worse” quite often from different sources. I never knew that it was from Humphrey Bogart until I googled it recently.
It was at that moment that I realized that I’ve never watched Casablanca. Or An Affair to Remember. Or any of a dozen famous movies that have probably contributed quotes or phrases to my personal vernacular.
One of these days I’m gonna have to get a bunch of these movies and devote a whole weekend just to watch them.
I know exactly what you mean. I’m always being accused of never having seen essential movies.

To save others the bother of going to the site, it’s a novelty item for roasting hot dogs. It’s a metal wire man figure and you stick the hot dog, on its…um…wiener?
