Sasha’s tale is a bit tragic for sure. I’m working on the script that should fill out more of her backstory (as well as Toad’s and Coco’s). I’m aiming towards a 16 page mini-comic for each, but I’m not too good at condensing information and I keep going over the space available (at least for Toad and Sasha).
Also (in my opinion at least) Sasha’s story requires a tad better artistic skill than what I could do right now. I’m having trouble incorporating my current drawing style with Egyptian motifs (yes her background includes an elven society living in a forest, but with an Egyptian theme). Coco’s and Toad’s mini-comics are therefore likely to come out first and this is all we’re going to see of her background for a while.
Tomorrow’s strip will resume the rampant silliness this comic is mainly about.
Oh, and for those who are curious, yes I got the idea of the layout for the last panel from Kris Straub.
I’m totally missing something, is this the bard that they are talking about? Is it supposed to be Sasha’s husband or something?
Cut away scene. We see what Sasha’s been up to since she split away from the party. Followed her husband to a tavern where he proceeded to drink himself into a stupor.
