Theobromine is the chemical in chocolate that makes it bad for dogs, cats and some other animals. Interestingly enough, it is also found in Tea leaves. I’ve heard the warning against giving chocolate to animals quite often, but I’ve never heard anyone say anything about tea.
You know how one of Queen Elizabeth’s corgis died a few years ago? I bet she gave him some tea. The story about the bull terrier was just a cover up.
