Have you ever gotten an email scam letter from some foreign person saying that they want to send you money and you get to keep a portion of it?
I’ve gotten that email about 3 or 4 times now from different people over the years, since I’ve been online. I was wondering if anyone’s actually ever fallen for it, so I googled it.
Apparently, the answer is yes (according to snopes.com).
I suspect Sasha is a twitterer and just trying to send the other two a tweet. (Hmm…”twitterer” sounds akward — how about we just call someone-who-twitters a … “twit”.)

Wow, only 3-4 Nigerian scams. Cedric, either you’ve been on the net only a few months, or I drastically underestimate the efficacy of AOL’s spam filtering.

Well, 3-4 Nigerian scams from someone actually in Nigeria. I’ve gotten a few others from other African/Eastern European nations.
