Ever watch a beauty pageant? Ever see some of the contestants say world peace when asked what they would wish for?
Just once I want to see a contestant be honest and say something like “lots of money from making product endorsements”.
You know they’re thinking it.
Once a guy was asked, “if you could wish for anything, what would it be?”
He answered, “a tunafish sandwich.”
“What? Just a tunafish sandwich? Why not ask for diamond mines, or super powers, or, I dunno, your own tunafish sandwich factory?”
“Because if I ask for a tunafish sandwich, I get my wish!” And he opened the fridge and took out his lunch.
Heh. I think that was actually a Calvin and Hobbes strip. At least I can picture Hobbes saying something like that.
