Familiar Ground

It’s not easy being green. 

Anyone else remember the Rainbow Connection?  I recall it as one of my favorite movies of all time, but I realize that nostalgia is not always accurate.  I used to think Dark Crystal was one of my favorites, but after watching it a year or so ago, I found that my older sensibilities couldn’t get over the fact that I was watching muppets and I didn’t enjoy it as much.  That’s why I’m now reluctant to see the Rainbow Connection again (or most movies from my childhood).  I don’t want to chance my memories not matching up to reality.

Anyhoo…Kermit and Miss Piggy.  What’s that all about?
